7-10 minute free write!
I have one more yoga class left. Kind of a bitter sweet thing. Tomorrow's the last day. Two more practicums left than its time to start teaching. I wish I had more time to practice teaching because I want to be able to memorize at least one sequence and branch off from there but with two jobs and two other classes its pretty hard. Taking my time finishing the practicums because I really need to be prepared to teach when all's said and done. This is a class I don't want to b.s. my way through because it's a class that's actually vital to my future and my career/profession. I love doing yoga. I love researching yoga. I love trying new poses. My favorite is a blog I just recently found: http://365daystoyogini.wordpress.com/theyoyoyogini/. I'm creating a blog as well for life after teacher training. Pretty excited about that. It's just for me but open to the public and anyone who chooses to view it can. It will also incorporate a little about nutrition. My last nutrition class was last week. This is all so bitter sweet but I'm excited about my future and where I go from here.

week 2
Blog Assignment: (Due by Sunday at Midnight)
1. Creative Writing Sample: Where do you seek inspiration in your daily life? How can you apply that inspiration to your writing? Does your inspiration guide your writing style? Does your writing style block your inspiration?
I seek inspiration from my favorite movie, Eat, Pray, Love, when I have time to watch it and need need inspiration but mostly from my goals. My goals lead me to where I need to be and how I need to get there. I instantly get inspired from what I read and pictures I see having to do with my goals. I've realized in life that if you don't have goals you don't have anything to look forward and strive towards. Whether it be a vacation and your goal being to leave on this day and come back on this day and save money towards it or start an exercise program and you wake up and look at a picture of someone who is your 'work out idle' so you get inspired but just looking at the picture or whatever it may be. I can apply the inspiration to my writing by being descriptive and including quotes to live by in my writing for extra inspiration. The inspiration definently guides my writing style because when I'm inspired it very easy for me to write based on it because everything just starts to flow. My writing style doesn't block my inspiration but instead simply guides it.

Life as a pen
This pen was born and created at yellow cab company. It was intended to be a tool used to advertise the company so people take yellow cab when they need a cab. It has their phone number on it as well. This pen thought it was the pen of all times being bright yellow for everyone to see until he saw the bright green discount cab pen that was double it's size and more obvious to see. That made the yellow cab pen sad and insecure thinking it won't ever be used as the pen of choice anymore but rather the backup pen. It hates being compared to the other pen because it's always the same story, "I can find the discount cab pen quicker in my person and can see it better as well."
My advice would be to have better, more visable ink and last longer so that it would be preferred over the bigger pen that runs out of ink quicker!
